We are looking for a new familymember in our cosy BNR office for undying attention! The internship starts on the 15th June for a minimum period of 3 months.
If you’re interested in gaining some experience in the music business, working in a flexible young team, lending a hand on promo campaigns, dealing with our shop and blogactivity and set up new ideas by your own, don’t wait till the beat drop and send your application including a cv to news@boysnoize.com (subject heading: BNR?! please note any special skills you can bring in like photoshop skills, video editing, HTML nerd coding (that’s REALLY really essential!), writing experience and so on.
Berlin based peeps are prefered. You should also have an A++ in english and german (as so many ‘ve asked: you just have to understand english and german 
) and be at least 18 years old!

Paul Snowden, the creative Mind of WASTED GERMAN YOUTH and graphic genius of BOYS NOIZE & BOYS NOIZE RECORDS, sit down for a short Q&A for rauwblog.nl, the famous event night in Netherlands.
How did you get in contact with Boys Noize records?
i was in warsaw as i got the call, i can remember that very clearly, in 2004 his girlfriend contacted me caus he needed design stuff for his newly founded label boys noize records. in the meanwhile we have become good friends and i think have churned out 50 plus releases together. alex visits my brother when he is in australia. i call him and his girlfriend our german aunt and uncle.
And why did you choose this special artwork for him and the label?
weird question. i choose to do it because i think its right for the music. i want to create the covers as fun and explosive as possible. i execute the covers in record timing. thats become the perpetual challenge, to make the next artwork louder than the last.

Boys Noize has been nominated for the first official Beatport Music Awards 2010!!! The Beatport Music Awards aim to recognize electronic music talent in all of the genres Beatport supports. The nominees for these awards are based solely on unit sales from Beatport.com over the last 12 months.
There are 35 categories altogether: Best Artists (separated into 18 genres), Best Track (17 genres, with both originals and remixes), and a final open question asking the public to name the ‘most influential, relevant and forward-thinking person in electronic music in 2009’.
