Other than “je ne sais pas”, there is “prankster rapper from the Berlin underground”, “workaholic Grammy-nominated arranger/producer”, “melancholic piano virtuoso” or “softly powerful crooner”. And now “Guinness World Record holder” and “Jazz-Chesser”.

Berlin based DJ and producer Housemeister is back and is taking you down to his analogue universe full of drummachines, talking machines and beautiful melodies!
Beef Jerkey 2 – Premium Cuts is a follow up of his last 5 Track EP called “Beef Jerky” released in 2009.
The opening song “Sommer” is probably one of his most melodic jam, reflecting a never-ending sommertime breeze in Berlin and is – besides his still underrated track “Inordertodance” probably his first – we have to admit it – real hit !
“Ick Schnall Ab” and “Verflixt” are great tools, that you can even play twice without people knowing what happened to their brains.
“Famous” is a typical Housemeister pusher and “Hyperactive” feels like a track, that Jeff Mills could have done in his early techno days.
All in all this is not just an ordinary sequel, this will mark the next level, the next shift to the real deal!

Where to begin with this one, where to end? If you like backyard drum sets, drum machines and infinitely long melodies then Premium Cuts is more than right for you. I mean one really needs to be ready for bouncey beats when they enter the realm of Hyperactive, but with a title like that there is little room for deception.

Djedjotronic discovered electronica through labels like Warp and UR about a decade ago.
On his first BNR release Dirty & Hard in 2009 he was presenting his unique electronic style of rough techno sound and booty go lucky house. Several remixes and productions for The Faint or Busy P followed which brought him fans from all over the genres, from Jesse Rose to Head Banger.
Today, 1 year later, BNR is very excited to present his new EP “Bit This Thin” including 3 hot new tracks.
Djedjotronic delivers a fusion of modern jackin’ House and Techno music, creating a sound which crosses genre boarder, reaching out to all DJs.

Strip Steve “Delta Disco” found a lot of fans from House to Disco music so it doesn’t surprise to decide to remix this EP with some new and old names in this genre.
Ian Pooley did his oldschool house version of “Dancin’”, while Das Glow (Institubes) comes up with a weird, resonant but jackin version. Lorenz Rhode gave “Breakin’” the 80′s disco funk back, kicking you right back to the Goonies and ET.
The Rynecologist Remix of “Breakin’” which was also released on the MIAMI NOIZE Sampler is a pure master. Clap Mikes cut up version of Strip Steve’s “Children” shows how you work with samples. Crydamour’s hero Sedat turns “AM/FM” into a banger for today’s dancefloor leaving us with a great feeling in the second part of the track. To round up this Remix EP we asked the live band Crystal (Institubes) from Tokyo that came up with their own version of “AM/FM”. Cheers to that!

Gonzales authetnic new album is ready for its close-up. Born in the electro-piano universe, produced by Alex Ridha aka Boys Noize it will be available to you at all the real and virtual record stores … towards the end of August.
It’s also a Feature Film, an existentialist sports comedy about chess and success. Starring me, Chilly Gonzales, the amateur actor, brilliantly flanked by a charmingly villainous Tiga (as my brother!) , and the inimitable queen of her own universe, Peaches.
Until then, keep an eye out for the first stones being laid down in the construction of IVORY TOWER.
The « NEVER STOP » single is being brought to you out of the UK by Erol Alkan’s PHANTASY SOUNDS label.
Beatport.com will have the exclusive digital release on April 5 – join us to celebrate the release on April 8 at the Bloomsbury Ballroom Bar (see below to get your invitation to the Erol Alkan DJ Set) – and as of 26th April, you’ll find the single on Vinyl and all other other digital platforms.
