BNR071D: SPANK ROCK – CAR SONG

1. CAR SONG FEAT. SANTIGOLD

2. CAR SONG FEAT. SANTIGOLD (INSTRUMENTAL)

3. MAKE EM ROCK

Taken from the album: Everything Is Boring & Everyone Is A F—ing Liar

Kool Disco MC Spank Rock aka Naeem Juwan, the harbinger of the party-rap explosion of the mid-2000s, is primed to drop the sophomore effort, Everything Is Boring And Everyone Is A Fucking Liar on Boysnoize Records in Europe. With the help of executive producer Boys Noize (who produced the bulk of the album), Spank Rock has taken a brand new, intrepid direction since 2005′s Yoyoyoyoyo.

This direction “drives” us now straight to an outstanding hit-record on the album. Car Song feat. Santigold. Compare to the other tracks on the album this tune is more thoughtful dance rock colliding with electronic influences. You can’t mess with a dream-team ‘cause the collaboration between Santi & Spank sounds quite perfect and maybe that’s why you can’t get this Car Song out of your head. Additional productions by Alex Ridha a.k.a. Boys Noize and Sam Spiegel improved this track even more. Car Song is far-reaching topically yet fully committed to portraying Spank Rock’s multi-faceted brilliance.

BNR071 Out December 16th in Germany and on 16th January 2012 for the Rest Of World (excl. North America, Australia and New Zealand) on Boysnoize Records

BNR070: HOUSEMEISTER FEAT P.O.S – WEIRD FRIENDS

01. WEIRD FRIENDS FEAT. P.O.S

02. HIRSCHKEULE

03. WEIRD FRIENDS FEAT. P.O.S (OBI BLANCHE REMIX)

04. WEIRD FRIENDS FEAT. P.O.S (TWR72 DUB MIX)

05. HIRSCHKEULE (MIXHELL REMIX)

06. WEIRD FRIENDS FEAT. P.O.S (TWR72 RADIO VOCAL REMIX) (BEATPORT BONUS TRACK)

HOUSEMEISTER is back with his big new single “Weird Friends”, which is based on the original track “Hirschkeule” from his new album “Music Is Awesome”. “Weird Friends” fancies with Hip-Hop and the result is nothing but a serious banger.

The mixbreed of EDM and Hip-Hop with Indie-rapper P.O.S from Minnesota spitting the truth on the mic and Housemeister’s signature heavy beats is a no brainer. The acid-guitar line weaving its way into your brain and huge drum fills keeping things interesting, this effort is sure to stand out in any set! P.O.S’ rap to skateboard to fits great and his wide range of musical skills brings this tune where it needs to be – on a merciless half-pipe shred. The Ryhmesayers Entertainment artist, who is also co-founder of Doomtree Collective, has his roots in the punk US-punk-scene, which might be another good reason why the two go so good together. They have their ears open for a lot of different styles.

“Weird Friends” comes with remixes from so hot TWR72 who deliver a solid tech-dub, Obi Blanche who adds a funky live bass ala Cypress Hill meets Smith N Hack and our favourite Brazilians Mixhell deliver a tropical disco-rave mix with epic drumfills by hero Iggor Cavalera of Sepultura.

Watch out for Housemeister’s “Weird Friends” and don’t forget to check out the “Music Is Awesome” album, out now!

BNR068  SCNTST – MONDAY

01. MONDAY
02. BEACHBOY
03. GLOBUS
04. 909 TIME
05. STRACIA (BEATPORT BONUS TRACK)

Boysnoize Rec proudly presents you our new signing, 17 year old SCNTST from Munich, Germany, someone you definitely should keep an eye on! Bryan Müller started producing due to a critically acclaimed German movie about techno and within a year he developed his sound, which he likes to call “Advanced Techno”.

“Monday” is a tooly tech monster, its toms and clever percussive sounds make it a non-obvious rocker, easy to play at any time, very effective.
“Beachboy” consolidates the suspicion, that his sounding is more than just new techno or house, it’s futuristic, new funky German juke. The seduction of the ruminant pitched woman’s voice repeating ‘nasty’ is giving goosebumbs. You end up in a black box, puzzled but releaved by the dissolving hard drum programming in the main part.

Of all the potential lying in SCNTST’s style miscellany, there’s nothing that quite tops “Globus” for technoic articulation. It has a sharply defined, techy groove — simple, almost subliminal bassline fill and bright sample cuttings. Once it’s speed up the drop out claims most of the mix’s attention, leaving ravers time to breath and feel the tension.

The last track of the EP “909 Time” is inspired by his heroes Lone and Legowelt. The Roland TR 909 as the main drum machine and a different approach to the powerful melody, SCNTST’s version is the playful dream version of its inspirational source.

As a digital bonus you get “Stracia”, modern techno with an army of flutes sounding off the grid

SCNTST’s debut EP hopefully is just the beginning and a good reason to like ‘Mondays’.

BNR067  BOYS NOIZE – SESSIONS PT. I

A: BUUURG

AA: PUR

After his highly anticipated single ‘Yeah/1010′ Boys Noize is back with a true ghetto release and the first part of his ‘Boys Noize Sessions’.

With two new tracks, Alex is taking us through one of the most intense personal side of a creative process by stripping down the tracks to a one-time studiosession without any re-edits or even re-arrangements – just by playing around on the machine park Boys Noize is getting the best material to start a party.. and ON it is!

The first track on A side named ‘Buuurg’ sounds like hoovering worms, getting lost in the shuffle. Pitched and repeatingly coming up and down the tune, Boys Noize is working it from every conceiveable angle, featuring an aggressive slamming ghetto beat trying to pump your brains out. You won’t forget this. It’s quite a lot to handle, but it’s also difficult to deny.

On the flip ‘Pur’- a pure tempo pounder, underscore the point of taking things ‘reserved’, somehow minimal, but still showing us Boys Noize at his most explicitly techno side. The bursting laserbeam as a basic parameter carrying the track and won’t turn off again for over six minutes. It is by far the most experimental track Boys Noize has made so far.

Boys Noize Session Pt.1 is likely to leave you with a healthy prospect of what comes next in an unforgiving and straight way.

Let’s celebrate the vinyl, especially the discobag like back in the 90′s where techno pioneers put out their tracks DIY over night and placed them in the local store, without you even recognize it if you’re not in the ‘scene’.

BNR066  SPANK ROCK – #1 Hit

produced by Boys Noize & Mark Ronson

01. #1 HIT (CLEAN VERSION)

02. #1 HIT (INSTRUMENTAL)

03. #1 HIT (I-TUNES EXCLUSIVE – UNCENSORED VIDEO)

Spank Rock’s “#1 Hit” is the first lead single (after the street-single “Energy”) produced by Boys Noize and Mark Ronson. The result of this collaboration is an outstanding mixture of Boys Noize’s hard beats and grinding rythms with Mark Ronson’s feel for the pop-twist, best recognizable in the chorus. These ingredients result nothing less than a hitfactor as the name obviously implies. The chorus just sticks in your head, giving the concept of Andy Warhols ’15 min of fame’ a new freshness in todays ‘two side of the same coin’ of stardom. The only different is, Spank Rock is nothing but in the game.

chorusline:

Have you ever seen your name in lights

Maybe that could change tonight

Have you ever seen a start so bright

Baby let me change your life

Dj Feedbacks:

Rob Da Bank said: “Oh yeah, hands in the air…Spank Rock #1 Hit, what a record!”

Nick Grimshaw commented: “I love Spank Rock” & Annie said: “This Is Crazy, I love it!”

Annie Mac said: “Ah yeah Spank Rock, produced by Boys Noize, I’m liking his confidence there!”

BNR065  SPANK ROCK – ENERGY

01. ENERGY (ORIGINAL VERSION)

02. ENERGY (JAN DRIVER REMIX)

03. ENERGY (WIN WIN REMIX)

04. ENERGY (THE GLIMMERS REMIX)

05. ENERGY (DG DISKO VERSION) DIGITAL BONUSTRACK

Going on five years after the release of the highly superior debut album YoYoYoYoYo, mastermind Spank Rock aka Naeem Juwan touched ground with the sophomore full-length, the excellently titled ‘Everything Is Boring and Everyone Is a Fucking Liar’, due in September.

Featuring production mostly handled by Boys Noize in addition to single-shot offerings from the Neptunes’ Pharrell Williams, original Spank Rock producer XXXchange, well known super-producer Mark Ronson, as well as Sam Spiegel aka Squeak E. Clean of N.A.S.A. and Chris Rockswell.

The first single comes with a little aural accompaniment in the shape of ‘Energy’, which ditches synthetic sheen to sample Can’s Vitamin C. “I need new energy,” runs the chorus, showing Juwan’s vision for 2011.

Alongside the original track four remixers excellently joining the party:

The first remix delivered by JAN DRIVER out from the Boysnoize Rec. camp is showing us the deep and hidden side of the track. While the female vocals operating in the shadow background, the army of trumpets rising in the front forcing you against the wall.

The second remix on digital release by the New Yorkers WIN WIN (XXXchange group) starts with a cocktail and a cool summerbreeze just right to that moment after 2 min (!), where a siren bursts in, turning into a frenetic laserbeam. But instead of a 4/4 beat climax the track suddenly drops, setting the energy and your mind free..wonderful !!

THE GLIMMERS (Studio !K7/Diskimo), who have already remixed favs like Freddy Mercury and Roxy Music so far, are pushing the track back where it belongs – to the dancefloor. It sounds like Soft Cell and Human League have embraced Bootsy Collin’s bassguitar competing for space with Juwan’s energetic voice flow, addictive.

While on the other hand their second version called DG DISKO, sends out a discodriven spaceship for us to join Juwan’s 2011 odyssee. You can even make out the stars and visualise Spank Rock riding through the galaxy.

We need new energy, we need Spank Rock, now!

“When [Yoyoyoyoyo] came out… it cut through all the shit for me. It was like a slap ’round the

Turn it up.” – Thom Yorke

Kool Disco MC Spank Rock aka Naeem Juwan, the harbinger of the party-rap explosion of the mid-2000s, is primed to drop the sophomore effort, Everything Is Boring And Everyone Is A Fucking Liar October 03rd on Boysnoize Records. With the help of executive producer Boys Noize (who produced the bulk of the album), Spank Rock has taken a brand new, intrepid direction since 2005′s Yoyoyoyoyo. The latest in a series of collaborative projects (Bangers & Cash with Benny Blanco or Mobroder with Blu Jemz, for example), Everything Is Boring And Everyone Is A Fucking Liar finds Naeem reinvigorated and inspired; the change is palpable.

As it’s title might suggest, Everything Is Boring And Everyone Is A Fucking Liar is a deliberate departure from the sound of Yoyoyoyoyo; the forthcoming album is a polished, melodic effort informed as much by pop and rock as club rap and electro. This striking amalgam is exemplified wholly by “Energy”, the lead single produced by Boys Noize. The frenetic drum line maintains a stuttered clip that finds Spank Rock sounding somewhere between David Byrne and Ike Turner. No less striking is the Santigold-assisted “Car Song”- more thoughtful dance rock colliding with electronic influences. Later, production from Sam Spiegel and XXXchange help to achieve a balance of sonic elements, tethering together pop and electronic traits respectively and allowing them to gel beneath Spank Rock’s cadence.

Hedonism still makes itself present lyrically, as on “Hot Potato”, or the wall-shaking Bounce anthem “Nasty” with Big Freedia, but the album’s energetic sexuality is in good company alongside verses about industry frustration, love, and listless dancing, ultimately humanizing a musician as he metamorphoses into an artist. Everything Is Boring And Everyone Is A Fucking Liar is far-reaching topically yet fully committed to portraying Spank Rock’s multi-faceted
brilliance.

Jan Driver has been releasing music since 1993, ehh what ? 1993 ? Yes right, today probably some of his biggest fans are born in that year hehe.

Born and raised in Berlin, started to produce music with 16 years on analogue gear and ever since he’s done more than 100 remixes, incl. Armand Van Helden, Laurent Garnier, Boys Noize, Faithless, Blaze, Romanthony, Afrika Bambaata and countless tracks & records.

Check his discography, it speaks for itself. With his own hits & remixes he has toured the world from ’95–2003 till he decided he needed a break, saying goodbye to the pressure of making hits. He founded his own label Grand Petrol in 2004 where he started to release more deeper and playful tech-house but also released music of his long time friend Siriusmo.

Between 2006 – 2009 studioworks took most his time, so he didn’t do many Dj-gigs but found himself being the mastering engineer, mixer & co-producer for Riverstarr’s album, Modeselektor, Siriusmo and many more productions.

I’ve met up with Jan in 2008 where he played me some new amazing demos but he was still stuck in his production/mixer and part time work, so that he barely had time to make music for himself, although he produced big tracks like “Kardamoon” (Grand Petrol), “Red Alert” (Made to Play) and Tellyfoam (Boysnoize Rec.).

In 2010 he released his much anticipated “Gain Reaction” EP (Boysnoize Rec.) which got him big support from House and Techno Djs like Erol Alkan, Miss Kitten, Ed Bangers, Modeselektor, Tiga, A-Trak, Jesse Rose or Annie Mac and many more.

Me and his friends convinced Jan to focus on his own music again. He started to produce music everyday and suddenly there was an album, his very first – playful as never before.

An album that is so colorful, an album that reflects his experience of almost 20 years electronic music, quality production and forward-thinking tracks you can’t put in any category.

Do you like Techno, he got it, do you like Disco, he got it, do you like Punk, yeah he got it and do you like UK-Dubtech whatever ? Yes, listen to this album, it’s all in there but be prepared, your head might explode because of Jan’s heavy bass. Real bass. Deep shit. Great tracks. Welcome back Jan Driver. Respect.

Imagine letting off a balloon and the way it goes all over the room, unpredictably whizzing up and down and round and round… That’s how ‘Ion’ works – it takes the dancefloor in that unpredictable fashion, flys round your head, makes you dizzy and before you know you’re going wild!

Everybody better bring some towels, because Housemeister is about to soak the world in electro champagne. Presenting his third full length music, the dirty don of club music did it again. Touching ravers hearts and hitting ravers right on their heads at the same time. In arts, good ideas are hard to have, but easy to get – masterful musical output is pretty hard to create, but once it’s done, it’s about pure listening pleasure. And with a thousand shitty drugs flooding the streets of music today, it isn’t everyday you get to consume the 100% stuff.

“Music Is Awesome” is that shit that’s straight from the kitchen, and Housemeister has produced this bitch to the point like a 5 star chef. It seems playing clubs and crowds all over the world do add to a player’s game. Add class and confidence. Add experience and excellence, add balls as well as balance, and maybe it just takes 15 years of hardcore DJdom to be able to come out and kill like this.

MUSIC IS AWESOME! Could any phrase be more simple and true? Could any DJ come up with a better beatdown of arty-farty music chit chat, nipping critics in the bud just like that!? And how could someone who’s played a million records maintain such compass and focus? The answer isn’t made of words, of course. The answer is alive whenever awesome music is playing and nobody listening gives two shits about anything else in the world. When the moment is made of music, that’s when Housemeister is happy. That’s what dance music is for. That’s what makes you dance in the first place. And that’s what Housemeister put on this record.

The unique studio-zoo of tools and toys he’s using, the refreshing hands-on, open-mind approach of production, the iconic brand he’s built, the picture disc vinyl release of this Boysnoize Records highlight with 7 tracks on each side made now for collectors not for djs anymore, the fact he’s shooting a video for every single song – all kick ass Housemeister´s quality specials. But they’re chilling in the shadow of this techno music monster.

BNR058 HOUSEMEISTER – MUSIC IS AWESOME (SINGLE)

1. MUSIC IS AWESOME

2. MUSIC IS AWESOME (BOYS NOIZE REMIX)

3. MUSIC IS AWESOME (FEADZ REMIX)

4. MUSIC IS AWESOME (COSMIN TRG REMIX)

5. MUSIC IS AWESOME (HOUSEMEISTER REWORK)

6. MUSIC IS AWESOME (BONAPARTE REMAKE RADIO EDIT)

7. MUSIC IS AWESOME (TOKTOK REMIX) DIGITAL BONUSTRACK

8. MUSIC IS AWESOME (BONAPARTE REMAKE EXTENDED VERSION) DIGITAL BONUSTRACK

Come end of May, dancefloors will be overdosing on awesome music. Legendary dirty man HOUSEMEISTER will blow out his third mother-L fucking-P “Music is Awesome“ for the wicked, and rave will reign again. But you can’t just stick your face out into this kind of quality noize – it would mini-melt right off, see!?

So Housemeister took instant classic electro anthem title track “Music is Awesome“ to some players and friends and said “Look boys, I’m putting out a smaller dose upfront so nobody will die on the dancefloor, now who’s gonna help me save some lives?“ Everybody was in on this EP effort, of course. Siriusmo and friends hooked up with illustration genius Gogoplata for the artwork (100% hand-made!), rave rocket launcher Boys Noize himself sandblasted the track to his image, Paris buddy Feadz (Ed Banger) redefined “playfulness“ with notes like stars in the sky and insane drum programming, true techno lover Cosmin TRG (Monkeytown) reduced it to the max, and then Bonaparte came around with a running nose and a live recording straight outta rehearsal room.

A live recording, that’s right. A punk-ass, hard-core fest of drums, bass, guitar and moog, with old-school crowd shouts ‘n everything! Another heavy-as-fuck piece of remix by Toktok had to be restricted ‘digital only’, because when Housemeister looked at what this one single track made these brilliant artists do, shit was scarier than before!

This is so brutal, people are gonna die! So beautiful, people are gonna die dancing! Housemeister was so inspired he had to put his own chunk of rework on this bitch as well. So be aware, you sick kids. If you really want to overdose on awesomeness, you have been warned. Housemeisters “Music is Awesome“ EP is out on Boysnoize Records, and it will do the trick. Let’s just hope some of you will make it to May.

BNR057 MIXHELL – ANTIGALACTIC

1. ANTIGALACTIC

2. ANTIGALACTIC (IN FLAGRANTI SPECIAL FORCES MIX)

3. ANTIGALACTIC (MUMBAI SCIENCE REMIX)

4. ANTIGALACTIC (GUI BORATTO’S OUT OF BOUNDS MIX)

Iggor Cavalera may be best known for his time as the drummer of Brazilian super-group Sepultura. But

that, is soon to change. Having toured the globe, won many a ‘Best Drummer’ accolade and sold over 10

million records, Iggor’s incredible ability to project emotion and evoke thought through his percussive

talents is now being given a new outlet in the form of his exciting collaboration, MixHell.

Having been drawn to the electronic sound through their work with artists including Ice T, Necro, Zegon,

Sabotage and LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy. Iggor and his wife Laima took MixHell, from the studio

to the stage. Now a DJ project with an extraordinary live element, MixHell, with their tunrtables, CDJ’s,

mixers, laptops and drummachines deliver a show that fully explores their vast background of musical

influences. A quite engaging and unique experience.

Boysnoize Records are proud to welcome MixHell to the label, with their latest smash hit, “Antigalactic”. A

mindblowing combination of sounds, that sees the act dive into Rock, Electroclash, and Cyber Punk and

create an uplifting spaceage anthem. Such an extra large original deserves a bumper remix package, and

we have provided just that.

Mumbai Science prepare for launch in their talking Trans-Am, whilst In Flagranti take us into battle in

their ‘Special Forces’ Mix. Finally Brazilian producer Gui Boratto continues the epic theme of the package

with his ‘Out Of Bounds’ rework. A fitting final rework for a release that knows no bounds.

1. SHIZZO

2. NBAXX

3. SATURDAY

Boys Noize and Housemeister, 2 good old friends from Berlin with a lot of love for analog found together again to rave in the studio. After their first collaboration in 2006 under the name of EASTWEST, they are now brining us 3 new jams you don´t want to miss.

“Shizzo” is the track you´d probably expect from these 2 f*ckers:

loud, noizy and stupid!

It’s up and down parts shake the club like you were sitting in a rollercoaster – beware this is not for everyone.

“nBaxx” is a new breakbeat track. breakbeat ? yeah! With a hint of inspiration by LFO “Freak”, this one comes quite minimal but hard, just the way these buddies like it.

“Saturday” the secret A side on this Maxi is a Disco-Tech track, with moving arpeggios and big melodic break where spheric disco pads cool you down before you and the kids jump up to this piece of 2011 disco music.

BNR055 SHADOW DANCER – MURDER ROOM

1. MURDER ROOM

2. PARALLAX

3. CATMOVES

4. LO FIGHTERS

5. CATMOVES (DEADSTOCK 33 REMIX)

Manchester’s finest Paul Farrier aka Shadow Dancer is back after his succesful release of his 2 acid-house tracks on Boysnoize sub-label BNR TRAX.

He returns with 4 diverse songs for all of us cool DJs.

“Catmoves”is a great mix of modern Disco and House, it’s repetative arpeggio bassline builds through the track and creates an atmosphere you surely fill up the floor with.

“Parallax”, our hit of this ep, is an epic disco-tech song, which gives you warm feelings and takes you on a journey to a sunny afterhour morning at Berlin’s Bar25

or maybe just memories of how good those old electro-disco Legowelt tracks were.

On “Murder Room” Paul delivers a groovy dancefloor murder track, an adventure room full of little sounds to brainwash ravers.

Last but not least “Lo Fighters” is an unreleased Shadow Dancer song from 1999, classic pre-millenium electro with a robot vocoder voice that motivates, the perfect song to close this ep in new classic electro feel.

Electro 2011 let’s go! As a digital bonus track you get Deadstock 33′s version of “Catmoves”.

BNR054 VARIOUS ARTISTS – SUPER ACID

1. BOYS NOIZE “1010″

2. JAN DRIVER “ARMY OF MOWERS”

3. JOAKIM & KRIKOR “AZID”

4. HOUSEMEISTER & DAVE TARRIDA “BLEEP”

6. SIRIUSMO “I LIKE MY VOICE”

7. EROL ALKAN & BOYS NOIZE “DEATH SUITE” (EROL ALKAN EDIT)

10. FEADZ “11% ACID”

11. BENNY RODRIGUES “LSD”

12. DJEDJOTRONIC “URANUS”

13. TONI PLANET – AZIDWAR (DIGITAL BONUS TRACK)

Boys Noize has compiled 12 modern acid jams done by BNR artists and homies like Feadz, Joakim & Krikor and Brodinski tributing 20 years of Acid. How to make a classic Acid track ?

First you need a Roland-Tb 303 Bassline which – back in 1982 – was made for musicians to replace the actual bass or guitar. It’s manual is the most annoying thing to read because it teaches you classic music lessons, no wonder that the idea of the Roland TB 303 been a real instrument have failed and noone wanted to buy the it.

In the middle of the 80′s Dj Pierre, member of Phuture produced a 12min track “Acid Trax” with just a drumachine and the 303, a total new sound created for the clubs. Shortly after a few more producers put that “useless” thing together with a drummachine like the Roland Tr 808 or 909, programmed a bassline pattern and recorded live sessions, abusing it’s incredible filters: Acid-House was born. A new genre was born.

Because the Roland Tb 303 got so expensive, you can find diverse clones of that wonderful machine and since 1 year you can even make Acid sounds with your phone – Boys Noize presents a compilation full of new, modern acid, made in all kinds of ways.
Some, well most, of the producers on this compilation have used the classic Roland303, some used a 303 clone, a 303 plug-in and some even rocked the 303 iphone app.
Some of the producers on this compilation spent their time with all kinds of analog gear and mixers to have the original “warm” sound they love and some others just use a fucking laptop. can you hear the difference ? well, i can – but do you really ?
And why release new Acid tracks when you can find the best ones made 10-20 years ago ?
Because this is some fresh Acid you havent heared before, produced by incredible young talents that know everything about the Acid-life, producers that take this genre to another level, into the future.
Love,
Boys Noize

BNR053 JAN DRIVER – GAIN REACTION

1. GAIN REACTION

2. CS40M

3. HORNETBEEF

4. MECAFUNK

You might know Jan Driver from his famous techno life in the 90ies or maybe for his label GrandPetrol, his extraordinary skills in german folk music, high quality mixing for Siriusmo, Jesse Rose and Modeselektor or last but not least also from his WMC 2010 #1 hit “Tellyfoam” which was featured on the BNR MIAMI NOIZE sampler.

Here is the first maxi of berlin multi-action-talent and friend JAN DRIVER, presenting a selection of 4 tracks including “Gain Reaction”, a good fun heavy bass bleep champ, “CS40M”, a slower powerful jam that creates an energetic build up of pink noise and 303 sounds for the very special atmosphere, “Hornetbeef”, a tech-house at its best and “MecaFunk”, darker techno, big sounds, the right track to close this magnificient production of these 4 tracks.

1. NOTT (ORIGINAL MIX)

2. NOTT (PAUL CHAMBERS ADVENTURE REMIX)

3. NOTT (SHADOW DANCER REMIX)

4. NERVE (HEY TODAY! REMIX)

“Nott” is a modern tech-rave track with a strong robotic voice that claims ‘I am nott techno’ and because rave was born in Belgium Boys Noize chose local hero Paul Chambers to take us on an adventure through bleeps and acid, a sure shot to turn the club to the next level. UK’s finest Shadow Dancer reduces the important bits from the original and add nice percussive rhythms so it gets less techno and more house!

2. BART B MORE – BRAPAPELLA

The three days release party finally reaches the peak! Boysnoize Records welcomes Bart B More for a very special release. Combining his love for beat-driven, looped techno music with big room house and electro, Bart has been able to create a refreshing new cross-over sound that found love in various Dj Bags. His previous releases on Sound Pellegrino or Toolroom Rec as well as his remixes for Crookers and Chocolatte Puma (Beatport no.1) to name a few, show his diversity in sound. For Boysnoize Records he sat down and produced “BRAP”, his biggest track to date. Only by seeing the reaction when this track is dropped on the floors, it seems very likely that this one is going to be one of THE best tracks in 2010.

BNR047 HOUSEMEISTER – BEEF JERKY PREMIUM CUTS 2

1. SOMMER

2. ICK SCHNALL UP

3. FAMOUS

4. VERFLIXT

5. HYPERACTIVE

Berlin based DJ and producer Housemeister is back and is taking you down to his analogue universe full of drummachines, talking machines and beautiful melodies! Beef Jerkey 2 – Premium Cuts is a follow up of his last 5 Track EP called “Beef Jerky” released in 2009. The opening song “Sommer” is probably one of his most melodic jam, reflecting a never-ending sommertime breeze in Berlin and is – besides his still underrated track “Inordertodance” probably his first – we have to admit it – real hit ! “Ick Schnall Ab” and “Verflixt” are great tools, that you can even play twice without people knowing what happened to their brains. “Famous” is a typical Housemeister pusher and “Hyperactive” feels like a track, that Jeff Mills could have done in his early techno days.

All in all this is not just an ordinary sequel, this will mark the next level, the next shift to the real deal!
